An author a month (for dimes)

Twelve authors and illustrators, plus hundreds of books, are featured in this new compilation by Sharron McElmeel. Using the same format as her previous titles, "An Author a Month (for Pennies)" and its companion volume "An Author a Month (for Nickels)", this new collection focuses on Martha Alexander, Caroline Arnold, Graeme Base, Byrd Baylor, Jan Brett, Anthony Browne, Joanna Cole, Eric A. Kimmel and Janet Stevens, with capsule units on Demi, Keiko Kasza and Patricia Polacco. For each of the authors, McElmeel provides a full-size, copiable poster page, useful bulletin board use, and a brief biography with relevant background information. Hundreds of extension activities and bibliographies of related resources are also included.
